With 250hp or 250hp turbo-charged engine, 4-5seats, constant- speed propeller, and retractable gear, the SOCATA TB20 Trinidad and SOCATA TB21 Trinidad TC are ideal for advanced flight training, IFR training, pleasure flights, surveillance missions, and high-speed, long-distance liaison missions.

Stability By Design

The flaps allow for very low landing speeds and slow turns. Lowering the flaps and the retractable gear does not create pitch variation, allowing the pilot to execute extremely precise IFR approaches. The high wing loading allows for better response in wind gusts and more stability in turbulence. The low-wing design was repeated on all the aircraft in the TB fleet. Low-wing advantages:

• perfect visibility on the ground or in flight
• increased security in the airfield traffic pattern
• easy refuelling
• easy examination of the wing surface during pre-flight inspection
• lower sensitivity to gusts during taxi
